Women Without Boundaries Awards 2026 Honoree

Chicago, IL / Global — Source Elements is proud to announce that our Technical Co-Founder and CEO, Rebekah Wilson, has been honored with the Technology Excellence Award as part of the 2026 Women Without Boundaries Awards, presented by Diversified at NAB Show New York.

The Technology Excellence Award specifically recognizes “a woman driving innovation, technical excellence, or creative problem-solving across AV, media, broadcast, workplace, or digital experience technology.”

A Visionary Leading Through Human Connection

Since co-founding Source Elements in 2005, Rebekah has spearheaded a fundamental paradigm shift in media, broadcast, and audio production. By developing software like Source-Connect and Source-Nexus, she led the global transition away from legacy ISDN hardware to real-time, broadcast-quality internet collaboration. Under her guidance, Source-Connect has grown to become the universally recognized industry standard for the voiceover, ADR, and remote post-production community.

I’m honoured to be recognized at the Women Without Boundaries Awards at NAB Show New York. This program celebrates women who are shaping the future of our industry through leadership, innovation, and a commitment to creating opportunities for others.

I’m grateful to be part of a community that continues to challenge boundaries, inspire change, and champion the next generation of women in our industry. It’s been an incredible experience to celebrate alongside so many incredible women.

— Rebekah Wilson, Technical Co-Founder & CEO, Source Elements

Redefining What It Means to Lead in Technology

Rebekah’s recognition reflects two decades of continuous, ground-breaking innovation paired with a deeply human-centric leadership philosophy:

  • Pioneering Industry Standards: From inventing real-time internet audio workflows with automated transport sync to engineering the industry’s first remote collaboration solution certified for Dolby Atmos, Rebekah has consistently expanded what is technically possible in remote audio.
  • Democratizing Production: Driven by social impact, Rebekah built Source Elements to remove geographical and economic barriers for creative talent worldwide—allowing independent artists, voice talents, and audio engineers in remote regions to access top-tier global projects without leaving their home communities.
  • Human-Centricity & Support: Recognizing that technology exists to serve human connection, Rebekah established a gold-standard live support model staffed by expert audio engineers, ensuring creators receive high-touch care during high-stakes sessions.
  • Building Community First: True leadership is not just about arriving at a destination, but how you arrive. Over 20 years, Rebekah has fostered a thriving, loyal community of media professionals who trust Source Elements daily to power their most critical workflows.
