Announcing Source-Connect 3.9!

Source Elements, the makers of Source-Connect Pro, have released a new version with Source-Stream technology for Source-Connect Pro and Pro X. So if you are travelling this summer and don't want to worry about firewalls and router restrictions then Source-Stream is designed for hassle-free connections without the need for modem and router configuration.

Source-Connect Pro X 3.9

Source-Connect Pro 3.9 supports “Source-Stream”, a method for bypassing firewall restrictions. This means you can travel and use Source-Connect almost anywhere you can get broadband internet (some firewall restrictions may still apply, contact our Support team for details).

Source-Connect Pro 3.9 is a fully standalone application and features Source-Connect Link, a set of AAX, Audio Units and VST plugins that directly send audio to many supported hosts.

Since version 3.7.0, Source-Connect Link supports 32-bit AAX sessions and 64-bit Audio Units.

Source-Connect Pro now also allows you to connect using your audio settings at the higher sample rates of 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4 kHz and 192 kHz. This functionality works with both Source-Link and built-in audio.

In addition, Source-Connect Pro 3.9 includes:

3, 4, 5, 6 and Surround 5.1 and 7.1 channels
The ability to send SMTPE timecode along with stereo audio
The ability to send multiple mics – you can choose how to use the additional channels.

Source-Connect Standard 3.9

Source-Connect Standard 3.9 is a fully standalone application and features Source-Connect Link, a set of AAX, VST and Audio Units plug-ins that send audio directly to most modern hosts/DAWs. 3.9 also features 64-bit support for AAX plug-ins for Mac OSX.

It also includes configurable audio channels and devices directly with the software. There are also ultra-low buffer settings, which are highly beneficial for bridging and low-latency conversations.

As of version 3.9, there is a subscription option for Source-Connect Standard.
