Atomic Sound – remote ADR sessions and post-production
October 15, 2021

We spoke with Adriana Alvarez about how she uses Source-Connect to collaborate throughout the Americas.

Atomic Sound

President of Atomic Sound, Post-Production Studio, Tom deGorter tells us: ” We have been aggressively using Source-Connect this season on several of our TV series. With the Producers and cutting rooms on the other side of town, it has allowed us to play back 2 track and 5.1 mixes on both “Revolution” and “Almost Human” in Burbank while the Producers can listen to the mix, give notes, and observe the mix process all in real time from the comfort of their offices in Santa Monica.

We are also using it on “Once Upon a Time” and “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland”, “Revolution”, and “Almost Human” to run ADR sessions being shot in Vancouver from our laptop.”

“Source-Connect has been a great tool in accomplishing things that just a few years ago would not have been possible without an expensive ISDN setup. I look forward to using it on all our other series as well”.
