Source-RTL

Source Elements provides a variety of Remote ADR Solutions.

Source-RTL is an easy-to-use addition to Source-Connect that allows remote fully frame-accurate voice recording to local picture, with minimal technical effort for the remote talent.

Using Source-Connect and timecode via your hardware or Source-LTC for traditional workflows or via RTS, Source-Connect’s built in sync engine, with any DAW or Source-RTL. Further its simple and easy to bring remote stakeholders and directors in to the session using Source-Live LL.

For more information about RTS, Source-LTC and Source-Live LL please see their dedicated pages.

Performance is everything

Nail the perfect take to HD video the first time, every time, confident that your recording is secure with Source-RTL. Also, Source-Connect’s groundbreaking Auto Restore & Replace system protects your VO from dropped packets, so you never miss that perfect take.

Keep your files safe and secure

Guard sensitive files with high-level password encryption and watermarking. It’s iron-clad protection from prying eyes (and ears).

Tips to optimize performance

When recording remote ADR and voiceover, we recommend that both parties use Source-Connect Version 3.9, which enables Source-Stream for all users. In this version, port forwarding is not required, which significantly simplifies set-up for remote talent.
When transferring files with DropBox, be sure to append files with “?dl=1” to enable the recipient to download the zip archive.
HEVC-encoded QuickTime files may not play on all systems.
