Source-Connect and Source-Live require a physical USB dongle device called an 'iLok' for copy-protection. This means you must have an iLok installed in a USB port in your computer and be registered as an iLok user at iLok.com, or you will not be able to launch and use Source-Connect and Source-Live. All other Source Elements products have the option for you to use the iLok for your purchased license.

Once you have an iLok, you need to create an account at iLok.com and register your physical iLok with this account. Follow the instructions on the iLok.com website for details. You will use this account to receive licenses that allow you to launch Source Elements software. |
To download and try Source Elements' products you will need to have an iLok and a corresponding iLok.com username. Go to the Product page of the software you wish to download and you will be asked to complete the evaluation process.
At the same time, we transfer a demo license to your iLok username. You will need to log in and follow iLok.com's instructions on downloading the demonstration authorization to your iLok. When successfully completed, you will now be authorized to use Source Elements' products for 15 days. Fully featured, no restraints.

When your demonstration period ends, the next time you launch Source Elements' products you will asked to purchase a license to continue using the software. To purchase, simply visit our secure online sales section. After successfully submitting your credit card details you will be sent an invoice by email and you'll be able to access your new iLok license immediately. You'll need to visit iLok.com again to download the new, non-expiring license to your iLok.
If an iLok is lost or stolen Source Elements is not able to replace lost or stolen licenses. Broken or non-functional iLoks will be repaired by PACE and it is your responsibility to secure my iLok licenses with Zero Down Time (ZDT) if a temporary replacement license is required instantly.
